What you’ll be doing
Malik Brothers is a Lahore-based construction company delivering apartment and house projects. We are seeking an Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support reliable project and company reporting.
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and organize supporting documentation.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, payment records, bank reconciliations, and routine financial reports.
- Track project-related expenses and assist with cost records for apartment and house construction work.
- Monitor receivables and payables, follow up on pending documentation, and support timely payment processing.
- Assist with monthly closing, budget comparisons, audit preparation, and tax documentation.
- Coordinate with project and administrative teams to verify transactions and maintain complete financial files.
This role is based in Lahore and requires careful handling of financial information, sound numerical judgment, and consistent attention to detail.
What we’re looking for
- Practical bookkeeping and accounting skills, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
- Ability to prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, payment records, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software for data entry, calculations, and financial summaries.
- Strong numerical accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when managing transaction records.
- Ability to track construction project expenses and maintain clear supporting documentation.
- Understanding of monthly closing processes, audit support, and basic tax record preparation.
- Professional communication and coordination skills for resolving discrepancies with project and administrative teams.
- Integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information.
